"Chicks vs. Dicks" at the Tip Top Inn Sept 27-Oct 4, 1998

This week long local music extravaganza featured many excellent local bands. I actually went to every show! The profits went to SF Tenants Rights and all had a blast. I had the honor of hosting/MCing on Sat night along with Count Dante, but I must admit I didn't do the bands justice as it was way crowded, a long day, and of course we don't need to mention all the drinking. KUSF's own Jett, Terror Bull Ted and Katie also hosted/MCed and shared their musical enthusiasm with the masses. Let's just suffice it to say that Laurie and Michelle did a great job and hopefully this will become an annual event. | >
